We are delighted to announce another thing to do in our cram-packed itinerary of things to do at the Sci-Fi Ball this February 2017 at the Grand Harbour Hotel. Duncan Willis will be bringing his exceptional Gerry Anderson Exhibition to display thoughout the weekend.
Duncan is the only person in the world licensed by ITV Ventures to make and sell replicas of puppets and puppet-scale props from every Supermarionation show ranging from Supercar 1960 through Fireball XL5, Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Joe 90 to The Secret Service 1969.
Most of his puppets are cast from moulds with provenance to original puppet characters. Other pieces are scratch built with a high degree of accuracy.
Duncan also sculpts Thunderbirds-style puppets to look like anyone and his work has been used by ITV's Daybreak making a puppet out of presenter Adrian Chiles and broadcaster Chris Evans for his FAB 1 Million charity.

Ian is known for his role as Barristan Selmy in Game of Thrones.

Roger is perhaps best known for his role as Mace Tyrell in Game of Thrones.
Ian is also known for his role as Ser Meryn Trant in five seasons of Game of Thrones.

Larry an American author, actor and producer, first widely known thanks to his classic best-seller Star Trek: The Next Generation Companion from Pocket Books. He portrayed Dr. McCoy in the the first two Star Trek Continues web series episodes.

Terry is an actor with a wide spectrum of television appearances, ranging from Casualty to Harry Hill's TV Burp, but he is perhaps best known for playing Davros, creator of the Daleks, in Doctor Who from 1983 to 1989.

Gates has had an extensive career covering acting on both stage, the large and small screen and dance. In early work she helped choreograph three Jim Henson films: The Dark Crystal, Dreamchild and Labyrinth. She is of course best know to Trek fans for the role of Beverly Crusher in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
We are very excited to announce that Dave Freeman Art Director / Senior Concept Artist at Double Negative Visual Studios has confirmed he will be with us for the entire weekend of SF Ball 23.
Dave Freeman worked on Star Trek: Beyond as well as Terminator: Genisys, Thor: The Dark World, Jupiter Ascending, Alice: Through the looking glass, Mission Impossible 5, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 and Godzilla.
Dave has worked as an award winning Concepts Artist and Design Director within the Film and Broadcast industry for the past twenty years and will be attending the SF Ball in 2017 to discuss his work and the making of Star Trek: Beyond.
